A Flower Wept On is the first watercolor that I've done in the last three years and I love how it turned out. It's not professional by any means but I think by my skill level it's beautiful. I love the contrast in colors and how calming it appears with the yellow background. But the reason I named it A Flower Wept On is because the watercolor makes the paper look like it had been cried on and the somewhat wilted appearance of the petals makes it look like someone had told its sorrows to it, like it had been a dear friend to a sad someone.
