I call this painting The Jackson Pollock Knock Off. Jackson Pollock has always been a source of inspiration for me and I have this weird love of paint splatters so I thought this seemed very fitting. Where I think my love of paint splatters comes from is how spastic and frantic they appear to be and I feel this reflects me in a lot of ways. My moods are like this, they splatter me all the time.
The red was not intentional right away because I didn't think it fit the color scheme right away but then the chick sitting next to me started copying my method of pouring paint out of the cup and letting the paint trail, I got really mad that she tried to copy me and then all I saw was red so I decided to make it seem like since she copied it, she killed my artwork. So the red doubles as my anger and blood.
